The ZL41 Cell takes all the strengths of the highly popular Zyla series into a new edition specifically for life science researchers!

  • ZL41 Cell 4.2 supercedes the Zyla 4.2 PLUS. Delivering up to 82% QEmax, coupled with sub-electron read noise. The broad QE profile provides excellent coverage of the visible/NIR wavelength range, highly optimized to a wide range of common fluorophores. The high sensitivity permits use of shorter exposure times, faster frame rates and reduced phototoxicity.
  • ZL41 Cell 5.5 replaces the Zyla 5.5 and remains the ideal cost-effective upgrade solution for a microscope. It offers a 22 mm format sensor with 64 % QE. Uniquely, it offers a Global Shutter mode that is ideal for snapshot imaging of fast-moving objects without temporal distortion.

The ZL41 Cell 4.2 is ideal for applications that benefit from optimal sensitivity and speed, such as calcium imaging, light sheet microscopy and super-resolution microscopy. Packed with features such as:

  • SRRF-Stream+: (ZL41 Cell 4.2). Make your standard fluorescence microscope capable of Super-Resolution. Our cost-effective and easy to use real time super-resolution is available on ZL41 Cell 4.2 models. Use normal labelling and find out how your imaging can be taken to the next level.
  • LightScan PLUS: (ZL41 Cell 4.2) features FlexiScan & CycleMax functionality, permitting simple and flexible adaption of the Rolling Shutter scan mode to applications such as Scanning LightSheet Microscopy and Line Scan Confocal.
  • FCS Mode: Obtain the fastest speeds from minimal height ROIs configured for Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy experiments. ZL41 Cell 4.2 outputs a sustained 26,041 fps (2048 (w) x 8 (h) ROI) for exceptional temporal resolution.
  • GPU Express Simplify and optimize data transfer from the camera – ideal for today’s data intensive imaging experiments. Leverage CUDA-enabled NVidia GPU processing to accelerate the data acquisition pipeline with GPU Express.

Superior data transfer efficiency and 12-bit high speed mode combine to deliver an incredible 53 fps through the super-convenient USB 3.0 interface, with industry fastest Region of Interest (ROI) frame rates. With this capability, speed is on tap to allow users to follow faster dynamic processes with improved temporal resolution. Opt for the Camera Link version to access up to a blistering 100 fps (full resolution).

  • ZL41 Cell also offers industry-leading linearity (99.8%) for unparalleled quantitative accuracy of measurement across the full dynamic range.
  • An all new sensor chamber design provides even greater robustness and longevity (3-year chamber integrity warranty).
  • ZL41 Cell models share software compatibility with the previous editions of Zyla 4.2P and 5.5 models
