Astronomy Calculator

This astronomy webtool helps to calculate a variety of parameters, such as field of view (FOV), image scale, minimum pixel size (to avoid oversampling) and sensor diagonal based on different telescope and Andor camera combinations.

Instructions

• Insert your telescope parameters (focal length, aperture both in [mm]).
• Define the average seeing conditions (in [‘’]).
• Select an Andor CCD, EMCCD or sCMOS camera from the “Select Cameras” box on the right.
