Intensified and Gated Imaging Cameras

Intensified and Gated cameras are the solution for high-speed applications requiring the best timing accuracy, ultra-fast time resolution (optical gating down to < 2ns) and high sensitivity. A comprehensive on-board Digital Delay Generator (DDG™) provides ultra low-jitter and ultra-low insertion delay electronics for accurate timing (10 ps accuracy) and synchronization of sensor, image intensifier gating and external hardware.

The iStar family features a range of high-resolution sensors for the sharpest images, while maintaining the highest dynamic range.

A fiber-coupling arrangement to the image intensifiers is used for maximum collection efficiency, unlike lens-coupled configurations that would suffer from lower throughput, image vignetting and distortion. We can help you choose from a broad range of Gen2 and Gen 3 intensifiers, dependent on your application needs.

iStar sCMOS

iStar sCMOS is integrated with a 5.5 MP sensor delivering 50 fps and 2 ns optical gating. The low noise sCMOS chip also delivers a high dynamic range solution.

Suited to a wide range of applications, including time-resolved fluorescence & photoluminescence, flow analysis, combustion imaging, hyperspectral imaging and stand-off chemical detection.

iStar CCD 334T

iStar CCD 334T is integrated with a 1 MP CCD sensor. While the readout of the CCD chip is inherently slower than a sCMOS chip, if your application is not speed or dynamic range dependent then the 334T should be considered from a price/performance perspective.
