Frame Rate of CCD Cameras

Andor camera top speeds are dependent on many parameters, including area of interest (AOI), read mode, binning and software interface. The graphs and tables below show camera performance across a range of software interfaces and certain levels of binning area's of interest.

• Camera setup: 17 MHz, 0.3 µs vertical shift speed
• Minimum exposure set
• For fastest acquistion in iQ you must ensure that Frame-Stream and overlap are on, 'Display image during acquisition is turned off
ALL measurements performed using timestamps to verify the speed of acquisition

• iQ Snap-stream, 'Display image' off
