A Cryofree® optical cryostat for spectroscopy applications providing a temperature-controlled, sample-in-exchange-gas measurement environment, with sample access via a unique top-loading mechanism.
Wide sample temperature range: < 4 K to 300 K
Easy set-up and operation, no liquid cryogens are required
Unique sample loading, reducing time between experiments
The top-loading OptistatDry TLEX for spectroscopy comprises a compact cryostat with optical access, cooled by a closed-cycle refrigerator. This cryogen free cryostat is capable of cooling samples to helium temperatures without the need for liquid cryogens. This provides significant benefits for usability, running costs and enables simultaneous optical and electrical measurments via extensive window access and wiring options.
Versatile: Suitable for a wide range of experiments and spectroscopy techniques. Designed to interface with all types of optical benches; the feet match both Imperial (1" spacing) and Metric (25 mm spacing).
Top-loading capability: OptistatDry TLEX minimises the time between experiments and maximise sample throughput. Removing the sample rod whilst the cryostat is kept cold enables you to swap from one sample to the next less than 45 minutes. You can leave the cryostat in situ on the optical bench during sample change, eliminating the need for time-consuming re-alignment of your optical set-up.
Upgradeable: A wide range of different sample holders, windows and wiring options enable you to upgrade your system as your experimental needs develop.
Ease of use: No liquid cryogens are required, Air or water-cooled compressors are available, single phase electrical power means the system is easy to install in all standard laboratory environments.
Optical excellence: Comes with f1 and large optical access as standard. A wide range of different window materials are available to suit different wavelengths, wedged windows and anti-reflection coatings are also available.
