Financial Accountant - 12 month contract

We are looking for a trained accountant to join our experienced Finance team for one year. Here you will be working with established accounting professionals in a dynamic and challenging environment. Key Tasks and Duties

1. Responsible for preparation of annual budgets and annual Strategic Financial Plan in conjunction with the Finance Manager/ Finance Director

2. Responsible for quarterly fx forecasting

3. Calculation of Quarterly Sales Commissions

4. Responsible for the accounting and reporting of R&D spend, conducting reviews with project managers and addressing necessary actions

5. Provide insightful financial analysis, such as projections & reviews of business cases, to support strategic decision making

6. Monthly preparation and upload of statistical KPI data to Cognos Controller

7. Assist the Finance team during the implementation of a new ERP system

8. Assist the Finance Manager on group reporting requirements

9. Key contact for external auditors, ensuring that all reports are available for the year-end audit

10. Ensure company adherence to all appropriate financial standards

11. Continuous improvement of financial systems, internal control processes and procedures

12. Any other duties as may be reasonably requested from time to time by your Line Manager
