Presentation: Andor Dragonfly - High-quality & high-speed multi-modal imaging platform
With applications ranging from whole organisms to sub-cellular organelles, the biological processes investigation requires more than one imaging mode. Dragonfly is a multimodal imaging solution which benefits not only from Andor Technology industry-leading cameras but also high-end laser engines, GPU-accelerated computing and multiple motorized optical devices to maximize quality, resolution, high acquisition speed and productivity. If you run a core facility or multi-user environment, Dragonfly represents a cost effective platform which give access to three major high-quality imaging techniques.
Workshop: How to start with Imaris
Users will be able to quickly get microscopic image analyzed in order to extract statistics to rationalize their experiments.
Content: Creation of a movie using visualization tools (Clipping plane etc.). Image segmentation: Cell counting (Spots objectss) and volumetric and morphological analysis (Surfaces objects).
Workshop: Imaris Advanced
This workshop will focus on users’ specific needs gathered from a local survey.
Possible content: Neuron tracing with Imaris FilamenTracer, Intra-cellular relationship identification with Imaris Cell, Stitching and deconvolution, Automation with Imaris Batch, Following bioilogy over time with Imaris Track.
