Conference Travel Grant Program

The Oxford Instruments Andor Conference Travel Grant will provide financial support to an outstanding PhD student from the Americas that has conducted cutting edge research using microscopy instrumentation or software from Andor/Imaris, and intends to present their research at the upcoming Society for Neuroscience Meeting in Washington, DC, US from November 11-15, 2023.

PhD Students in Neuroscience, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Physiology, and/or a related discipline that are studying at an accredited University in North America or South America are invited to participate in this exciting program.

To participate in the Oxford Instruments Andor Travel Grant Program, applicants must submit a copy of an abstract that they prepared for submission to the Neuroscience 2023 Conference as presenting author, according to the guidelines given here: Society for Neuroscience - Rules for Abstract Submissions.

The abstract must make clear reference to Andor and/or Imaris technologies and must not include any employees of Andor/Oxford Instruments as co-authors. Prior to the travel grant program deadline, the applicant must have received formal notification from the organizers of the Neuroscience 2023 Conference related to the acceptance of their abstract for presentation at the upcoming conference.

The Andor Conference Travel Grant awardee for the Neuroscience 2023 Conference will be announced on October 16, 2023. The awardee will receive up to $3000 in funding from Oxford Instruments to cover conference registration fees, roundtrip airfare, lodging, and meals related to participation in the Neuroscience 2023 Conference.
