Oxford Instruments Microscopy Workshop

Spinning Disk Confocal Microscopy is a popular technology well suited for fast 2D and 3D acquisitions and gentle live-cell imaging. At Oxford Instruments Andor, we want to make microscopy versatile, accessible and easy.

The BC43 family is designed to bring the microscope to the lab, so that there is no time wasted between setting up an experiment and obtaining your results. The BC43 is a super-compact microscope that is rich in features and benefits. With no requirement for a darkroom, you can access laser confocal microscopy technology on the same bench as your samples. It allows brightfield, DPC, Widefield, Confocal and Super resolution imaging with 4 laser lines – blue, green, red, far red.

The workshop consists of an Introductory Session as well as several Hands-On Sessions with individual slots in which we will show you how you can acquire fast, 3D confocal images with very little effort.

Feel free to contact Matthias Thyroff (matthias.thyroff@oxinst.com) should you require any further information.
