Resources
This academy will have a strong focus on Spectrographs and Optical Detectors for Spectroscopy as well as Imaging.
Spectroscopy
The morning sessions will introduce the basics of spectrographs and optical camera technology. While the afternoon sessions will cover more advanced topics such as optical aberrations, demystifying your specification sheet (both spectrograph and camera) and fast-gated ICCD camera technology.
Imaging
On the second day, we will explore and understand the detector technologies that are key to various types of experimental systems, including CCDs, EMCCDs, ICCDs and sCMOS. This educational event will encompass introductory and more advanced sessions, using both presentations and demonstrations.
The academy will be a great opportunity to meet your peers, spend time with Oxford Instruments' global sales team and gain insight from our Application Specialists.
The lectures and talks will be held in the Main Auditorium (Salón de Actos / Seminar Room).
The practical sessions will take place in the Sala Hinarejos.
